i wrote that im uncomfortable with the idea of americans being judged for war crimes by international bodies. i am however all for creating our own truth commission:
By setting up a truly independent body, bipartisan, above reproach, on the lines of the 9/11 Commission, Obama could insist that his presidential emphasis is on accountability – and not in any way partisanship or revenge.

are you okay with us judging others for war crimes? ie, if we caught Osama (not likely), should we turn him back over to (insert wherever the fuck he’s actually from here)?
