memento was overrated and batman begins put me to sleep but i dug the dark knight. i thought heath ledger was good, but of course nothing like the posthumous hyperbole (the tongue thing was way too affected and reminded me only of how fucking great daniel day-lewis is). in fact, i thought gary oldman stole the thing; if ever there were a study in subtlety.

never thought i’d see the words “subtlety” and “gary oldman” used together in a sentence. he’s usually chewing up the furniture. but i agree with you. this time.

im with dw. all because i didnt know “div!” was the sound a gavel makes.
and i dont care about gary oldman. or movies. or subtlety. isnt it interesting how they soften the word with that b in front of the t? a non-phonetical hint in the English language. hmm. curious.
