someone compared it to the motorcycle diaries. i like that. but che was charismatic and idealistic in a way i could understand (he was also a cold-blooded killer). alexander supertramp was just fucking annoying. add voiceovers that i assume were meant to sound poetic and sean penns directorial flourishes that i assume were meant to look poetic and i had to struggle through the fucker. the only redemption was the same for supertramp: experiences are meant to be shared. even blah ones on the couch with the wife.
